Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
The business lists hours on 2 days of the week. Typical hours are 11:30 AMβ10 PM. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. New York is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in New York peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The restaurant vibe is relaxed and the dining room on the second floor reduces much of the street noise and you forget how crowded a Saturday at 6pm can be. The freshmade pasta makes the dishes taste amazing. I had the carbonara and my husband had the ragu. Both were delicious and well presented. What we both loved as much as the great food was that eventhough the restaurant was full, it was quiet enough to carry on a conversation without having to raise our voice. The overall experience was definitely worth the very reasonable price.

Unexpectedly amazing! Step inside of a small and intimate space in the busy stone jungle of NYC. One of the best octopus dishes I have ever tried! Pizza was so light and flavorful! Highly recommend!

If I could rate this place 100 stars I would! The pizza is something I crave its so good. The service is always amazing every time my husband and I come and we never wait long for our food. Iβve been coming here the past year and have never had a bad experience. Iβm celiac and order gluten free, I swear itβs the best gluten free pizza in Manhattan. Their quality of ingredients is the same as a gluten free pizza in Napoli (they make the gluten free dough). They do have a shared oven but theyβre very serious about cross-contact, the same seriousness as in Italy. Iβve never gotten glutened here! Weβve had Flavio as our server several times and he always gives us such amazing service. Very well informed, has great timing, and always such a pleasant attitude. They have lots of options for gluten free!

Visiting New York for the first time, I discovered PizzArte through a gluten-free app and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu offers an impressive variety of gluten-free options, including focaccia, pizza, and desserts, all prepared with incredible care and quality. As someone with celiac, dining out can often feel limiting, but this experience was the complete opposite. Every dish was not only safe, but absolutely delicious. The gluten-free pizza was, without a doubt, the best Iβve ever had. PizzArte truly delivers on both flavor and experience. Iβm so grateful to have found this spot and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially those looking for exceptional gluten-free dining.
